Part of my job at IMS consists in organizing the company’s exhibition in trade shows and coordinating activities so that everything goes according to plan. As the season is in full swing, it’s highly probable that I will write regularly about the various shows that we’ll attend. Our next show: BrewExpo America (Washington, D.C.).

We’re always looking to innovate and find new avenues to promote our products and particularly sleeves, these popular heat shrinkable labels that give products so much pizzazz.

When we began offering this product several years ago, we were already eyeing the food sector. During that time, we went over all the products sold in bottles, or in a similar container, and tried to imagine new packaging in the form of a sleeve that would outshine the traditional look.

Microbreweries and sleeves: a perfect combination

When the time came to do the same exercise with beer bottles, we noticed that not only were the results surprising, but the sleeve was the perfect means for microbreweries to stand out from the competition.

In order to demonstrate these ideas and products, we decided to bring them with us this year to BrewExpo America, an event created especially for traditional brewers.

My fellow blogger, René-Pierre, solutions specialist for shrink sleeve labels and equipment, is a sleeve expert. He will be onsite during the entire event to present visitors with several models of sleeves that he has prepared with his team.
