At IMS, we’re proud to support causes and events that help improve our communities. In fact, it’s one our core commitments. That’s why we take part in numerous fundraising campaigns for important social causes.

In 2021, let’s all take part in Cycling for Inclusion to help vulnerable families in Quebec that have been greatly affected by the pandemic.

A corporate social initiative led by Jean Éthier

Our president Jean Éthier has been a member of Mission Inclusion’s Board of Directors since 2018. He also heads the International Programs Committee which ensures that international projects supported correspond to Mission Inclusion’s own mission as well as its security and ethics standards. Mr. Éthier is also part of the Audit and Risk Committee that assesses the financial and operational risks encountered by Mission Inclusion.

“I decided to get involved with Mission Inclusion because it’s an organization that supports projects designed to help excluded people reintegrate society. It provides them with short-term support and the tools and means for their long-term success. Mission Inclusion is more than an organization that supports vulnerable individuals, it’s an organization that aims to have a long-term, positive impact on society. It’s an organization dedicated to social progress,” said Mr. Éthier.

In addition to being a Board member and part of various committees, Mr. Éthier also takes part in the Cycling for Inclusion challenge. His personal goal is to raise $10,000 by biking 1,500 km between June 1st and August 31st, 2021.

Cycling for Inclusion, a challenge mobilizing more than 400 cyclists

Cycling for Inclusion is a fundraising activity that is open to everyone and greatly appreciated by sports enthusiasts. Since 2014, more than 400 cyclists have travelled 30,000 km and raised over $325,000 for partner organizations throughout Quebec in order to support vulnerable communities.

Love biking and helping others?

Between June 1st and August 31st, 2021, you can bike as many kilometers as you want, whenever you want, either on the roads or virtually, on your own or as part of a team. Every cyclist is invited to raise at least $500 to support vulnerable families in Quebec that have been greatly affected by the pandemic.

Why you should take part in Cycling for Inclusion

This is a great opportunity to take on a sports challenge while strengthening our organization’s team spirit and raising funds for a cause that is dear to our hearts, all in compliance with current health measures!

Moreover, this challenge contributes to participants’ physical and mental well-being and cyclists of all levels can take part. Whether they are a beginner, intermediate, or expert, each participant can decide the number of kilometers they want to bike and when they do so. That means they can take on the challenge at their own pace and whenever their schedule permits.

Join us to help vulnerable families in Quebec! By taking on this challenge, you’ll also get to wear a Mission Inclusion cycling jersey specifically designed in collaboration with sponsors for the 2021 edition of Cycling for Inclusion.

Interested? Sign up for the IMS team before May 15, 2021.

Many ways to support families in need

There are many ways to take part. You can support an individual cyclist or an entire team or you can create your own Cycling for Inclusion team with friends and colleagues to raise funds for partner organizations throughout the province.
