Zebra Technology, a leader in the field of thermal barcode printers, has launched a new model: the ZT400.

Available in two versions (ZT410 and ZT420), this printer replaces the ZM series. The ZT410 prints labels up to 4 inches wide while the ZT420 can handle labels up to 6 inches wide.

Compared to the ZM series, the ZT400 printers are faster, print better quality labels and their connectivity is improved. The ZT410 printer can print at 600 dpi and can reach a speed of 14 inches per second.

Connectivity is what has changed the most. In addition to the usual series connection, USB or Ethernet, the ZT410 and ZT420 printers can be connected by Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. The printer also comes with applications for smart phones. It’s therefore easy to print from your phone thanks to a Bluetooth connection, for example.

RFID capabilities have also been improved to allow better tracking, greater visibility and a better overall view of the business and processes.

The presence of the application Link-OS makes this barcode printer easy to integrate into complex environments. The innovative operating system can connect many devices on the cloud so that they can all be managed remotely. They also offer a range of high-performance software.

Thanks to a new LCD screen and an intuitive interface, printing and handling is also facilitated.

Its robust construction, with an all-metal shell, makes it suitable for environments such as manufacturing, transportation and logistics. This thermal printer is also a good fit for the pharmaceutical industry and the health industry in general.

Ultimately, this new printer offers the robustness and efficiency of Zebra models, while improving connectivity and functionality of the previous series.
